Our Facility
Our home base is the Big Boy Arena, where we've created an inviting and energetic atmosphere for players and fans alike. With spacious locker rooms and showers, as well as the onsite Slapshotz bar, we've designed our facility to ensure that your roller hockey experience is both comfortable and enjoyable. Our primary floor has air conditioning along with our popular Joker Floor surface, a European Pro surface used in Italy as well as NARCh, which will give you an experience unlike anywhere else in the state of Michigan.
OUR HISTORY
Established in 2020, the Fraser Roller Hockey League quickly rose to prominence as a hub for inline hockey in the region. With a passion for the sport and a commitment to excellence, our league has flourished under the leadership of Director of Hockey, Mike Farinelli, who has been a driving force in the inline hockey community since 2008. Our community offers not just opportunities for the average player, but also travel hockey opportunities for recreational all the way to pro level play.
What We Offer
At Fraser Roller Hockey, we understand that the love for inline hockey knows no age boundaries. That's why we offer a wide range of opportunities for players!
- Youth Hockey: Our youth programs are designed to introduce young athletes to the joy of roller hockey, teaching valuable life skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We offer both learn to skate as well as learn to play hockey programs, which lead to our Youth House divisions for individuals looking to get into the action of games. These players can go on to our High School program as well!
- Michigan High School Roller Hockey League: FRHL is proud to be the host of the Michigan High School Roller League, where players can represent their schools in competition!
- Adult Hockey: FRHL is proud to be one of the countries largest inline hockey programs for adults, including more than 6 skill levels that play every day of the week. In addition to this, we have multiple age ranges, including 18 & Over Divisions, 30 & Over Divisions, 35 & Over Divisions, and 45 & Over Divisions. With opportunities for both individuals to play join a team as a solo or small group, all the way to complete team registrations, FRHL Adult Leagues are one of our most popular opportunities.
- Platinum Elite League: FRHL is home to some of the best players in the country, as we regularly provide players of professional backgrounds to take part in our Platinum Elite League, which includes players that have played in the National Hockey League, State Wars Pama Pro Champions, TORHS Pro Champions, International Champions (MIHTA), American Hockey League (AHL), East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), and other high level leagues. If competition is what you want, you will find it in the Platinum Elite League.
- Tournaments: We have various tournament opportunities to participate in, including our own In-House Tournaments, as well as the Midwest Inline Hockey Association. We also are host to the Midwest Collegiate Roller Hockey League, LEGENDS Draft League, and other various tournaments! We are always looking to expand for opportunities for the players and community here.
